- In the United States, it’s estimated that 30 percent of adults and 66 percent of adolescents are regularly sleep-deprived.
- Being sleep-deprived can cause your eyes to lose focus, lose the ability to identify objects by touch, be moody and uncoordinated, have trouble focusing, short-term memory and even death.
- We need at least 8-10 hours of sleep a day.
